Our Love Story
When Zach and I met, the last thing I was looking for was love. I had recently left college, I just moved, started a new job and was just trying to figure life out. But I have figured out when we least expect something that's normally when it happens.

| Buc-ees had just come to Crossville and I was hired as a cashier/coffee barista. Zach also was hired on as a warehouse stocker. Though we met our very first day of work, he and exchanged barely a sentence and then never spoke again for months. What I didn't know was his dad had also secured a job there in maintenance and I slowly began to strike up a friendship with him. Well, nobody told me his dad was Mr. Cupid but pretty quickly I figured it out. He started bringing up Zach every time we talked and would ask what I thought of him and if I like him. I was embaressed because I really didn't care about a relationship at that time and also because I had never been matchmaked before lol. 😂 After several weeks of this back and forth, his dad telling me what Zach thought of me and then telling Zach what I thought of him, I sent a friend request to Zach on Facebook. He didn't respond for several weeks so I just assumed he really didn't care and that it was just his dad trying to put us together. |
But late October of 2022, after almost three months of this, Zach texted me and apologized for not answering and then asked me out. Needless to say, I was flabbergasted. I really didn't think he had any interest in me and I had never been asked out before but without hesitation I accepted and the next day we went on out first date. We clicked so well, that I new immediatly there was something special about him and i wanted more.
After our first date, we were pretty much insepereable. Dates turned into spending every evening with him and his parents. We went on adventures all over Tennessee, had our first kiss at the top of Lookout Mountain in Chatanooga and explored many new places.
After six months of dating, on April 20,2023 he proposed to me in the Great Smokey Mountains at sunset on a lighted rope bridge in the trees. I immediatly said "Yes!" I knew there was no one I'd want to spend my life with than him.
We tied the knot another six months later in October, surrounded by our family and friends. It was the day of our dreams! I'm so thankful to be married to best friend.
